Oddly enough, my singing debut came as a result of the lead singer in my first band not showing up to practice....

When I was in junior high school I started playing the guitar. The trouble was, I wasn't very good at it. However, I worked hard enough at it that a friend of mine in high school asked me if I'd be interested in jamming with a new band he was in. I had a blast crunching off the rhythm guitar for "Enter Sandman," "Higher Ground," "Outshined," and whatever Alice in Chains song we could handle.

Then one day, it seems by fate, my role in the band changed. The lead singer had gone and got himself a new girlfriend and began missing practices. At the time I had to drive 45 minutes to practice out in West County...I wasn't in a hurry to just jump back in my car. So we would play. Almost half joking one day, I grabbed the mic and started singing. I've never stopped since. Sorry about that, Jason.

When I went away to college the band broke up. I am proud to say that each member of that original band has gone on to become very successful in the music industry. I'd made the decision to keep music as a hobby and focused on school. That was until a little over two years ago, I met Damone and Shawn. The rest, as they say, is history.

Oh ya, they call me, Thew....
